The Will family started their farm 1924. The farm has been in the family ever since. A dairy farm was added in 1952, and in 2013, the family opened their own processing and bottling plant, becoming the Mt. Crawford Creamery known and loved today.
Mt. Crawford sells a variety of high-quality, farm-fresh products, including milk, butter, chocolate milk, heavy cream, egg nog and ice cream mix. The family aims to keep the milk as close as possible to its natural state, so milk products are all pasteurized but non-homogenized. Cows are not treated to hormones, have ample access to open fields, and are only treated with antibiotics when sick. Further, Mt. Crawford has been praised for its conservation practices, including crop rotation and strip grazing.
The farm offers tours of up to 35 people for any interested parties, and field trips for area schools. Guests are even able to help feed their baby cows every afternoon!
