Managing Director, Eastern Food Hub Collaborative

Will Gray has been working as a local food system practitioner and advocate for over 10 years. His professional background combines small business management with on-the-ground experience in regional food production, processing, logistics, and network management.
Will serves as Managing Director of the Eastern Food Hub Collaboration (EFC), a network of local food hubs creating trade routes and market opportunities throughout the Eastern United States to improve livelihoods for farmers and increase equitable access to good food for all. The EFC was founded in 2020. Local Food Hub has served as the backbone organization for the Collaborative since its inception.
Will is the founder and CEO of Back Pocket Provisions in Richmond, VA, and also sits on the leadership team of the Mid-Atlantic Food Resilience and Access Coalition (MAFRAC). Prior to Back Pocket, Will was a Program Officer at the Wallace Center in Arlington, VA, a national nonprofit working to make the food system more healthy, green, fair, and affordable.
Will lives in Richmond, VA with his wife Jen and their two monstrous dogs, Smitty and Sully.
